Little Paint Artist!

Finger painting, something's that satisfies his hunger for painting his hands and legs too in the process! Nothing better than a colourful kid in ur house!

This is my 100th post, and what’s better than marking it with my son’s painting experiments. Something he loves so much, maybe more than his cars and other sports!

we watch a lot of Mister Maker episodes on YouTube and TV. I don’t pay attention, but Arin remembers much of what Mr.Maker tells his obedient listeners. Everything that my son picks up, reminds him of some or the other article that can be created by using the same. So I am thankful to his online tutor for enhancing creative thinking, while I am really not good at it.

So in the last one week Arin was introduced to tube water colors at his aunt’s place. He loved the finger painting so much that when we came back, hangover was still there. We also got him tube colors and he was at it the moment we got them home. Created some simple arts but he takes great pride in whatever his tiny fingers and big brushes achieve with the tubes.

below are a few things he has painted, of course with my help there to achieve a certain shape:

A house made of cut outs, pasted on his notebook! Tree was done together. The sun in the night was his idea so sunlight shoos away the dark!

He asked me to make paper bags, so we could utilise the tube colors well. And here he is putting his art to work! The bigger one was done by me, suggested by Arin. Now he keeps his colors and book in these bags.

The finished product ;-)

The finished product 😉

This was inspired by Mr.Maker's episode where he used play doh kind of stuff to create partitions so we get the white space in between the coloured patches. I live this one despite its obvious mishaps. Arin was very happy after this excercise and we did another one.

Another one inspired by Mr.Maker and our own experiments! What fun!
